If you are lookign to use the 8K tax credit as down paymnet, then that is not an option.

Even for a FHA loan you need to make 3.5% down payment.

And you get the tax credit after you buy the house and when you filefor your taxes or deduct in your pay check in adavnce.

Actually... as of this week it will be an option. The new guidelines came down the pike in the middle of the past week and now we are just waiting to see which lenders will begin implementing the new program.

Just like with the TARP programs it will take a little while for most lenders to jump on board... but when they do it will be big.

Interesting though.... DPA goes by the wayside last year, and here comes one of the first loopholes to get around it.

We are hoping to hear more this week...

Best of luck, hang in there... it is coming.
