Can someone get a mortgage with a 0 credit score?

My mom is 73 with a monthly income of $2200.00 a month. She has 0 credit score. Has paid cash everything for the past 25 years. Can she get a mortgage?
I don't think your mother will got.

It would be very slim chance but im sure it would be impossible.

Hi sweet,

I don't think your mom can qualify for a loan. There is hardly any chance for her to get one with zero credit.

I have a zero credit score and was just approved for a $275,000 loan. Yes, I had to provide alternate trade information (Rent, Phone, Water, Sewer, etc.) information for the past 24 months and since I was never late, I got a 5.25% fixed rate for 30 years. So yes, if you mother can afford a loan, has not been late on utilities for the past 2 years, go for it.
