The lender cannot sue you for reaffirmation of your mortgage. It is your discretion whether or not you want to reaffirm the mortgage.
If you decide to reaffirm the mortgage, then you will have to re-open your bankruptcy filing. You will have to speak to your bankruptcy trustee and your attorney and check out if you can get an extension to reaffirm the loan.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
