Do I really own the timeshare without the deed?

Posted on: 11th Aug, 2011 04:22 pm
I received a letter stating that my Wyndham timeshare is paid in full, which it is. However, they are asking me to pay to have the Recording Fees to have the property deeded to me. Therefore, since it seems it's not deeded to me what legal obligation do I have to keep paying the maint fees? Can they send me a bill for property upgrades, etc since I haven't paid the amount to have it deeded to me?
Hi Guest!

Welcome to forums!

If you do not pay the recording fees and get the property deeded in your name, then you won't be considered as the owner of the property. I'm not sure about the bill for the property upgrades. But, in my opinion, it will be better if you could get the property deeded in your name asap.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
