My friend recently auctioned her sister's property. She has received a solicitors letter from the buyer requesting she remove a couple of items of furniture, fixed cabinets from the kitchen, fridge, freezer and all the carpets because he bought it with with vacant possession. Does my friend have to do this?
Hi Erica,
If the buyer's agreement mentions about vacant possession, then your friend will have to remove the furnitures from that property.
