i had filed for bankruptcy and been discharged since march 2010. stopped paying our mortgage since late 2009. our home was also included with the BK and we are still living at the house. i am worried that i will owe any property taxes etc.. we are pretty much just waiting for our eviction notice. did not pay mortgage for almost 2 yrs, is this normal!.. Normally, if you stop paying the mortgage, you will receive eviction notice within 4-5 months. Nevertheless, as the loan has been discharged in your bankruptcy filing, you should contact your lender and surrender the property and request the lender to take actions asap.
