Mortage program for parents who have a disabled adult child

Posted on: 19th Oct, 2011 01:05 pm
We want to buy a home for our disabled daughter. She is high functioning and will have a care taker. We can afford a normal mortgage, but if we are considered investors because we will not live in the home, then it's out of reaach. Is there a program where we can buy a home for our daughter without being considered an investor. We live in Arizona. Thanks
Hi russl!

Welcome to forums!

You can include your name in the property deed and mortgage when you buy the property for your daughter. This may help you get a normal mortgage. However, you should contact the local lenders and they will further guide you in this matter.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
