i filed chapter 7 and it has been discharged. i have a 1st and 2nd mortgage that didnt get reaffirmed have continued to make all payments but really struggling contacted my 1st lender fha loan to try to do loan modifcation, they said per fha guidlines we have to reafirm first but bk case has been closed for sometime so dont think tis is possible want to stay in the house does anyone know the true answer to this some people have told me they have gotten modification on fha loan.

It is true that unless you reaffirm the loan, the lender won't be ready to modify the loan. Unless you reaffirm the loan, you won't be personally liable for the mortgage payments. So, you can contact your bankruptcy attorney and check out if you can re-open the bankruptcy and reaffirm the loan.
