I have had a timeshare at westgate since 2007. Started with a 2 bdrm condo every other year and have upgraded yearly or every other year. Oct 2012 I agreed to 4 2bdrm cabins every other year, with mortgage payments of 457month. I was told that rental of the 3 cabins would pay for the maintenance fees on even years. Long story short, I am now facing possibility of foreclosure on my personal home. I need to forfeit timeshare altogether. What do i need to do and how do i proceed?
Welcome mjbrichler,
You should contact the timeshare company and discuss the matter with them. You can surrender the timeshare property to them in order to get rid of it.
