Hi all,

It's been a long time since we've all joined hands and helped our community grow. But how well do we know each other? Let's start off by telling you something about myself.

I'm Brian Dela Cruz, Marketing Manager at MortgageFit. I've been associated with this community since April, 2006. And, it's been a pleasure interacting with the people here and helping them to the best of my abilities.

It would be great if you too add something about yourself here.

Happy introducing!

Thanks,

Brian Dela Cruz

Hi, I'm Robert with Academy Mortgage Corporation and we are a true Mortgage Banker not a Mortgage Broker (middle-man). We are the bank, we are the lender so you'll be dealing directly with us and not some go-between entity. No one can beat us, we get the best rates, have the lowest fees, typically get 0 out of pocket at closing, and get your mortgage funded faster.

When we give you a GFE, you can depend on it's accuracy. We don't give you a misleading GFE that's simply designed to get your business and try to sell you explanations on why it all changed when you get to closing time. We don't do business that way, we're accurate and let you know it's accurate... anything else you get elsewhere is only less due to hiding or not disclosing what they should on your GFE.

* We're a full service lender for all mortgage loan types in most States

Imagine that, letting you choose what you want on your mortgage instead of settling for the one option most brokers will give you. It's just one more advantage of working with a Mortgage Banker.

it's wonderful of you to advertise here, robert; but that's contrary to the spirit and the guidelines of this community. consider joining as a lender and you can input all your contact information in your signature.

I did join and I did put that as my signature, I'm pretty sure. I like your forum here there's a lot of good information on this site.

sorry, robert...it looked more like an outright ad to me. i agree that there's lots of good information here; i trust you'll add to it.

hmmm,

It sure seemed like a full page ad to me too. Also have a problem with this statement...

"instead of settling for the one option most brokers will give you."

Nice to paint everyone with the same brush Robert. Very nice of you to be complimentary to the rest of us on this forum with your second post. I am sure George and the rest of us here offer more than one option to our customers.

I was going to tone it down on the banker-to-broker generalizations I made, I was only drawing distinctions because a lot of people don't know what the real differences are between the two, so I made it easy to understand.

So, I apologize if my post rubbed you the wrong way. I would edit it to be 'broker-friendly' but I can't since my post has been replied to per forum settings.

Hi everyone,

I'm Glenn, I'm new here and I am just FLOODED with all the info lying around. Personally, I've just been to figure out what's happening these days because while it's easy to find all the probable causes of our problems, I don't know where it's going. :(

Hope to get to hear more from you guys. I'll be seeing you around. :P
