Hi im nath, i work in morgan stanleySB operations for GWMG. Pretty much just an internal customer service line for the branches. Im not here to offer any mortgage advice or anything (because i dont have any experience) Just looking to gain some knowledge about how the mortgage world works because I would like to finally own my first home. I came across this website off of google. Also it has great reviews so i decided to join.

well, nath, if you wander around this site, you'll find a divergent group of people who post regularly, and you'll also find tons of advice - most of it valuable. the two most relevant places to look for information would be on the "Mortgage Know-How" and "Loan Talk for First Time Home Buyers" forums.

there are certainly other valuable topics discussed in the other forums, as well. if you see a topic that piques your interest, that's to your benefit; and if you can share your experiences with others, that'll be valuable.

after all, this is a community, and we strive to fill each other in by providing our own testimonies in addition to all the advice given.

Hi all, I am sick and tired of the banking industry in this country I can't see straight. The little guy getting screwed while these banks seemingly do what they want, take money from tax payers, screw the little guy and hold all the cards. It's pathetic and it's pathetic what this country has become. Banks for the most part are thieves, liars and crooks. They need more Federal regulations and they need to be told how they are going to operate in this country.
