Hello there... Is it possible for a 17 year old to take out a mortgage with a co-signer?
Unless you are an adult, no lender will provide a loan. It will be illegal for a lender to provide a loan to a 17 year old even though he or she has a co-signer.
The buyer must be of contractual age.
That age varies by state.
Probably none less than 18 years old.
Tell us what state the property is in. Then we can find out the contrcatual age.
