Are you a non-resident in the US? or are you looking for loans on non-owner occupied property?
i gather you are speaking as a non-US-resident seeking to purchase. in that event, though you may well find someone out there willing to make such a loan, there are no opportunities within the typical framework.
where you might find a lender to do such a transaction is not within my range of knowledge, but perhaps an internet search would raise up a prospect.

Hello ANH8,
Welcome to Mortgage Fit,
There are certainly loans for Non-Residents, As it is understood most of the growth is attributable to the borrowers residing in India. It goes, Non Resident Indians (NRIs), however account for a small portion of the home loans business. There might be some eligibility criteria such as an NRI must be a graduate where a resident does not have to be.
However, to answer your questions a non-resident can get a loan.
Thanks,
