My sister is in trouble with bankruptcy court and would like to give me the house through a gift of equity. Can she do that and if so how?
can a property be given to someone as a gift of equity while it is in bankruptcy
it would be more than likely viewed as a fraudulent transfer....and could get her into serious trouble.....she needs to speak with her BK attorney.
