I have a mobile home financed through Green Tree, every time I turn around there is a new charge added. I finally got them to send me a statement after a year. They said it was sent all along and it was not. But I still sent them payments certified mail regardless. My last payment made in July was they told me was not put toward my balance putting me 1375.00 behind on my payments. Well I finally receive a statement the other day and they put 3 months of my past payments on there and July is not recorded and that check cleared the bank. The lady told me from Greentree that the house is going in foreclosure and I had been notified by attorneys..which is not true...I have not been and they kept that money. Well now since last week on 8/14/09 to 8/23/09 my balance due is 2172 how can that be? I have not sent them this months payment because I dont what will happen with it. I guess they will just have to repossess the trailer. I am a single parent and every time I turn around there is a new fee..and it has been on and off for the last ten years with them..but now it seems as when the economy is bad they are getting worse. They told my child they were coming to put a lock o the door and we can't go back home ater 8PM..and I own my property. A lady told me that I better tell her who is living here and that they were only 45 minutes away and were on their way to pick up my house today.
I am in a no win situation..and there is no way I can pay all the money they claim I owe them.

something does not sound right here.
I would have them provide you with the mortgage note, promissary note, or whatever documentation they are claiming you signed that spells out how these fees are accruing.
You may need legal representation if you can't get them to move on it.
