My husband and I are looking to relocate. He is self-employed and has been for 2 years, previously he worked for a company for 6 years. I have been at my current job for 7 1/2 years, but am looking for a job in the city that we are planning to move to. Our credit scores are currently 801 (me) and 807 (hubby). We own our home and we will be putting it up on the market in the next week or so. We are hoping to make at least $35,000 off of it to put down on a home in the city we are moving to. My question is about getting qualified to purchase a home in the new city. Should we get qualified now, while I am still employed at my current job or should we wait until I find another job. The only thing is that the jobs that are available so far are significantly less income.
Thanks
Melissa
Thanks

You can get qualified now, but that would be based on your curent situation.
When closign the lender is goign to check all this
Probably you may be better off, to try to get loan after you find anew job. But it may also become difficult at that time, sine you are still new to tha job
Catch 22
