I have just gotten married.
I will like to add my wife's name to the title deed of my town home.
What should I do?
Thanks
John

hi jonkay,
you can add your wife's name to the title deed of your home town by a quit claim deed.
first contact an attorney and let him prepare the deed for you. then you need to sign the deed in the presence of a notary public. the attorney will help you to record the deed at the office of the register of deeds.
thanks

Although we both put money down to have the house built, i married my husband 3 months later. It has been 3 years, i would like to have my name on the home deed
