What are some approved lenders that support the 203H program

Posted on: 19th Sep, 2006 02:14 pm
What approved lenders support the 203H program for Hurricane Katrina Victims? And what are the debt to income ratio requirements? How high of a LTV can a borrower borrow?
Hi,

You can search through the list provided on HUD's website:
http://www.hud.gov/ll/code/llslcrit.html for information on FHA approved lenders.

Additionally you can also contact the HUD National Servicing Center Hotline for more information on 203(h) at: 1 (888) 297-8685

Thanks

Hi Amann,

Under 203(h) program if you can qualify as per the FHA's guidelines can get 100% financing for purchase of your home and no down payment will be required.

Hi Amann,
"And what are the debt to income ratio requirements?"
I would like to add that FHA in recognition of the fact that people in 203(H) program may incur debt for replacement of personal property, have relaxed the underwriting guidelines to allow loans where total debt is up to 45 percent of gross monthly income.

Thanks
James
