Hi,

There are many options which you can use to avoid a foreclosure and most often lenders would also like to avoid foreclosures.

Thanks

Hi Van,

As Mat said there are few options which can help you avoid a foreclosure procedure, you can go through the following article to know more about them: How to avoid foreclosure.

You can also have a look at this page for details regarding the time it takes for the foreclosure procedure, Foreclosure Process Period. But as I said you should talk to the lender about any of the alternatives that are available to avoid foreclosure.

Thanks
James

Hi,

"do I still get the chance if I get the money to pay it before we go to court. "
You do get the chance to repay the loan before the foreclosure sale is executed. Even after the sale occurs, a borrower in North Carolina is allowed a 10 day right of redemption within which he can claim the property by paying off the outstanding debt and any related costs. So, you do have a chance of getting back your property.

Thanks,

Caron.

Hi van_bless,

You can avail the services of foreclosure help companies or housing counseling agencies providing counseling to save your home from being foreclosed. You can contact any of the North Carolina housing counseling agencies approved by the HUD (Department of housing and urban development).

God bless you

Samantha.
