Aloha,
My husband's exwife has been listing him as the responsible party for their daughters' unpaid medical bills and other expenses. We started receiving collection letters, and non-stop phone calls from collectors and this is giving us bad marks on our credit. In the divorce decree it states that he must provide medical insurance, which he does. But anything after that is on her. We have spent all our money last year in a custody disagreement and we can no longer afford one. Can she get away with this? What can we do? HELP

Hi Marisa,
You and your husband should immediately get in touch with an attorney in this regard. Your husband can take legal actions against his ex-wife.
Thanks

Hi Marisa!
Welcome to the forums!
As per the divorce agreement, your husband should not be made liable for the unpaid medical bills by his ex-wife. That will be illegal. He should take legal actions against her.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries,
Sussane.
