Ex-husband walked away from his primary residence he was awarded in our divorce settlement in Colorado. Now second mortgage lender is trying to sue me for what is due. Can they put a lien on my current home or garnished my wages?
Hi VCB!
Welcome to the forums!
If your name is still on the mortgage, then the second mortgage lender will be able to come after you for the payments and can even place a lien or garnish your home.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Welcome VCB,
In order to place a lien or garnish your wages, they will have to file a lawsuit against you and get a judgment from the courthouse.
