If I am going to buy a propety then is it a disclosure requirement from the seller if the home I am going to buy has been rezoned into a non-conforming status.
Hi,
Let me tell you that if the home which is being used by the seller currently does not comply with the current zoning requirements of the applicable zoning classification is known as a non-conforming use.
And the seller should disclose on the listing information and to you. It should be disclosed if the property is rezoned or rezoning is under consideration by city or county officials and the home is going to have a nonconforming use status.

One another thing is that whenever a property is proposed for rezoning, the owner is notified and given an opportunity to speak at a public hearing for or against the rezoning. If the property is having a non-conforming status then it has a major impact on the market value of the property.
