There have been several complaints so far from customers regarding illegal activities of Geneva Roth. Here's why debtors feel that Geneva Roth is a loan shark:
- The company often over charges its customers and withdraws money from their accounts repeatedly even after the loan payment is over.
- The company also keeps changing its contact information due to which customers make repeated calls but fail to get any response from Geneva Roth.
- Geneva Roth somehow gets access to bank accounts not related to the loan and debits money from such accounts.
- Even if consumers do not apply for Geneva Roth loans, the company somehow gets access to their accounts and forcefully deposit loan funds without even sending any paper agreement to the debtor.

I am an attorney who is currently investigating a class action lawsuit against Geneva Roth Capital. If anyone can provide any information as to Geneva’s loans and collection processes, it would be greatly appreciated. I can be reached at sweisbrot@nrmlaw.com. Thank you.
Hi Steven,
Welcome to Mortgagefit discussion board.
It is really good to know that lawsuit has been filed against this company. Many people are complaining about their services.
I think you will be getting numerous mails within a few days detailing how they harass borrowers.
It would be nice of you if you can occasionally let us know about the progress of the lawsuit.
Thanks

i do not know who this company and is and why they are drafting my account every 2 weeks, I want it to stop. Can you help me.
Hi Lajuan,
If you are saying about the Geneva Roth company, then I can tell you that you need to be aware of them as they are mostly known for their illegal activities of garnishing account of people. If they are drafting your account, you should immediately inform your bank against this and ask them to guard your account. If required, you can take the help of a lawyer in order to stop their activities.

I took out a $300.00 loan and I need to get in touch with them so I can pay it off, they keep taking the interest amount out of my account but I can't get in touch so I can pay on the actual loan itself.

I just talked to someone in customer service. Their number is 1-800-351-8820. I must warn you that they will put you on hold for a long time so do not call from a cell phone with minutes. Hope this helps someone.
Hi Wendy,
Geneva Roth is known for their illegal practice of taking out money from accounts of people. So whatever they have done with you is their common activity. I know it is very hard to get in touch with them as they continuously change their contact number. You may try to contact them at the address provided by Niicss. If required, you can also take the help of an attorney general in this matter. He may help you in locating them.

I borrowed $300 from that company in April of this year. I have been paying back $180 each month since then. I am planning on closing my account and opening up another one in the same bank. Do you think they will be able to debit from that account?
