I had to quit claim my community property interest in our house when my husband got a purchase loan. the lender put it as his sole and separate property. now, i want to put myself back on the house, as 3 years has passed and we are elderly in case of somethin happening to one of us. can i get him to sign a quit claim back, with 1/2 interest and as a gift of love and affection?
Welcome Alqin,
You can surely ask your husband to quit claim your interest in property. This is legally possible; your husband should be willing to transfer half of the property interest back to you. Then only the deed can be executed.
Since the deed is related to community property interest, therefore both you and your hsuband should sign the deed.

Your husband can transfer half ownership over to you using a quit claim deed but do inform the lender about it.
