New Mortgage Bailout Law

Posted on: 30th Jul, 2008 08:32 am
Can anyone tell me how I can get more info on the new bill signed by Bush today? I have a fixed 1st and 2nd and owe way more than my house is worth. I want to stay in it but would like to take advantage of the government backed financing. How do I do that?
hi guest.

welcome to the forum.

precedent bush has signed the housing bill into law to help the delinquent the homeowners. so now you can refinance the mortgage and turn it into 30 year frm. the law sets $300 billion fund to help the distressed homeowners. so i think you should contact with an fha approved lender to refinance you mortgage.

best of luck,
larry
