Am I entitled to be refunded the principal curtailment applied to my new bridge loan?

Posted on: 20th Aug, 2008 07:29 pm
Hello.

Have you made extra payments to pay the bridge loan? If so then why would lender refund you?
my mortgage payment per month is $432.65, however i pay $500.00 leaving $67.35 to be applied to additonal principal. they always deduct the $432.65 but does not show anywhere the $67.35 deduction. Can you explain this for me?

Hi brenda,

I think you should speak to your lender about this. Your lender will be the best person to inform you about this. In my opinion, $67.35 should have been mentioned as a payments towards the additional principle.
