We are planning to buy a home but have found that everything is insanely expensive where we are located. We did not want a longer commute so as to have a single family home and to stay at our location. The downside to this is that we only qualify for a town home. Should we buy now or wait to purchase? I hear that the market is going back up and that "now is the time to buy," is that true?
Hi Guest,
It is true that still the rates are low and it's a nice time to invest in a property. If you find that buying property in your locality is quite costly, you can contact the real estate agents and brokers and let them know about your price range and they may help you get such homes.
Thanks,
Jerry

Since the mortgage rates are low, it will be wise enough on your part to purchase your property. However, if you think that buying property in your area is quite costly, it will be best to get in touch with the real estate agents and brokers. Tell them about your price range. They may be able to help you out find properties that fit within your budget.
Yes, the above answers are true. But low mortgage rates and the current housing trend should be never be the basis of making investment decisions in the real estate sector. You must weigh your affordability as well as your long-term goals before buying any property. Moreover, you should be aware of the regional, national and even local housing market trends in order to make an informed decision.
I feel that since the price of real estate property is increasing like never before you should buy your home at the earliest because what you might think to be costly today would be very very very costly in the next year. And if the ones in your locality do not suit your budgets then definitely you should look for some nearby areas where its quite less costly. All I wish to say is the very best of luck.
