Hello there... I am planning to buy a house in Texas. I want my father to be a co-borrower but he lives in New Mexico. Is this possible?
Hi Maddie,
FHA loans are available in case of non-occupying co-borrower loans. So, you can take help of those loans in order to buy the property along with your co-borrower.
Take care

Hey Maddie,
I agree with what Sara has said. Nevertheless, you should speak to a local FHA lender and check out whether or not you will be able to qualify for a non-occupying co-borrower FHA loan. If you meet all the other required criteria, you will be able to get the loan.
