the lender choose the trustee when i refinance. it is an attorney, can i change the trustee in the future?
No, you would not be able to. The trustee is appointed by the lender to act as a liaison for two reasons. To convey the title to you, when the loan has been repaid, and to initial a foreclosure under default. The trustee has no other rights or powers.
Hi Mokong,
I agree with Chris. You cannot charge the lender for choosing the trustee.
