Hello. I have two lots. One vacant I own free and clear and an adjacent lot with my home and a mortgage on it. Both in my name as sole owner.
My question is who do I see to have these two lots combined? I tried a title company they said they don't do it. I can't do it myself as I work overseas. So who do I go to for the service? Lawyer, surveyor, another title company?? Help!!
I'm completely clueless and at dead ends here. If any one knows I'd be grateful for the help.
Thanks to all,

Hi RandallD,
You can contact the Zoning Board of your locality in order to merge two adjacent lots into one. Nevertheless, you can even contact a local attorney and take his help in this regard.
Take care.
