What is a DU Refi?
hi bob,
fannie mae provides two refi plus options to provide fannie mae to fannie mae refinance to help eligible borrowers. one of them is du refi plus. it is for loans underwritten through desktop underwriter. it offers increased efficiencies for the origination and underwriting of fannie mae to fannie mae limited cash-out refinance loan transactions in du up to 125% ltv.

The important feature of the DU Refi Plus program is that if your current mortgage does not have PMI, then your new loan under the DU Refi Plus program wont either.
