I really need an answer and find out what should i do or go to " I put my money in escrow for a home that i ws going to get well and i did this after my reeal estate agent told me that everything was going to be fine even after i told him about my credit he checked it and said it was fine. Along the process after i had already deposited the money for the home that i thought would be mine, the agent calls me and tells me that why didn't i infomr him about my credit before he even did anything that i no longer qualified he was very angry at me and i told him that i did inform him i even provided a copy myself to him. Well due to that i no longer had the credit score to qualify for a home purchase. and my deal ws dropped by the agent., about a week later i found out that the same house i was going to buy was already in escrow with another buyer. so i calll the escrow office that had my money and told them that by when would i get my money I was told if the current buyer for that house was successful that my funds would be mailed to me well That wsx back in OCTOBER 2010., its January 2011 and i haven't gotten my money back and i was told first that the Seller wanted half of my money by the escrow officer then She said that i needed toi speack with thelisting agent cause he wanted the other half of my money is this even legal. and she also told me that the seller didn't want to realease my money to me but the listing agent please tell me were, who, and why this is possible Thank yoou

If the deal did not went through then you should get back the money that you kept in your escrow account immediately. You should immediately contact your real estate agent and ask him to return the money back to you.

but i have spoken with him and he told me he wants to keep it all since he said he is entiltle to it is there somewere i can report this cause esrow office to me that that the listing agent had control of this deal i really don't understand why i cant get my money back
