Hello there... When I was in college, I was evicted from a property 7 years ago. Will this affect my ability to qualify for a mortgage?
Hi Hearty,
The eviction took place 7 years back. Any negative information will remain mentioned in your credit report for 7 years. So, I do not think that your eviction will have any negative impact on your present mortgage application.
Thanks,
Jerry

It shouldnt it has been long enough that it should no longer matter - hopefully you have since establihsed your credit and have a soid history of paying on time since (or at least the last couple of years)

No, this won't affect your credit score now as 7 years have already passed.
