My husban and I have been married for almost 10 years here in the US. He is from Panama, so we had to go thru immigration. We just found out that he is getting deporteted back to Panama and I am unsure if he will be able to come back to the US. Is there a way for me here in the US to still file for divorce even with him being in Panama?
Hi telmode,
As far as I know, you may be able to file a divorce case. Nevertheless, it will be better if you could consult an attorney well versed with the domestic laws of your state and take his opinion in this regard.

Hi telmode!
Welcome to forums!
Yes, an attorney with specialization in domestic law will be able to help you in this matter. But I guess you will be able to file the lawsuit in US though your husband has been deported to Panama.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
