I have a rental property (NC) that my tenants abruptly moved out of. I have been unable to rent the property. I am unable to maintain the payments since I have mortgage payments on my primary residence. Would a DIL be a good option for us?
Welcome shavon,
You can apply for a deed in lieu of foreclosure in order to get rid of the rental property. If you're delinquent on your mortgage payments, then there are high chances that the lender will be ready to accept your request.
