I have been trying to work with Flagstar Bank on a mortgage modification for the past 9 months and they keep giving me the run around each month. Now I have a foreclosure date for 3/16/2011! I have done everything that they have asked including completing a 6 month forebearance program. My accountant is now involved and he is totally frustrated as well. His theory is that the bank is getting govt. funding to help homeowner's in distress and that Flagstar is just going through the process with no intention of completing a loan modification and plan on foreclosing anyway. A friend told me about naca and he said that you helped him reduce his mortgage? Can you help me?
