Hello there... I need to know whether or not HARP program can be of any help in case of manufactured homes. Please help.
HARP may be available on manufactured homes but many lenders have stringent criteria for this. They may ask you to show 2 years of regular monthly payments on the existing loan. But again there are some lenders who do not offer this option.
Welcome Guest,
It will completely depend upon your lender. You should get in touch with your lender and check out if he can help you in this regard.

There are only a few lenders that will work with a manufactured home - to be eligible for Harp you must have a current conforming loan - is the home attached to the property and have a engineers certificate stating so - how much land? If it is in a park no Harp will not work if it fits the above description HARP may be an option - you do not have to go through your current lender however it may be the easiest route
