my husband passed away in 2009 and his name was the only name on the morgage am i responsible for the morgage? We live in Ga.

As your name is not mentioned on the mortgage docs, you're not responsible for the mortgage payments personally. You can stop making the payments. However, if you want to save the property from foreclosure, you'll have to refinance the mortgage in your name and keep on paying the dues.
