Hello there... I want to know if borrowers are a good source of lender referrals? I find a lot of testimonials and referrals when I search the web. Will it be a good option to go by them?
Hi Delphi,
Borrowers, or so as to say consumers, are not always an authentic source of lender referrals. It should always be noted that borrower ratings are based upon one particular experience covering a long and complicated process. This will not help them in properly judging a lender. So, depending solely upon their referral may not be a good idea.
Thanks,
Jerry

Hi Delphi!
Welcome to the forums!
There are very few borrowers who are capable enough to interpret their mortgage experience in a proper way. Borrowers may not always be able to interpret rejection or the requirement for excessive documents in a proper way and may provide you with a wrong feedback.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
