Loan for housing

Posted on: 01st Apr, 2013 12:08 am
Hello there… I need help and suggestions! I am a student and living with a roommate at present. My lease will be up at the end of May and I want to move into a one bedroom apartment. The only problem is that I can't work full-time being in school or make enough money to cover the cost of rent. How do I get a loan for housing? What is the process like?
Hi Jannet,

I personally don't think that it will be a good option to take out a loan for housing costs. This can lead to bad credit. Rather you can renew the lease and stay with your roommate.

Thanks

Hi Jannet!

Welcome to the forums!

For the time being, you can even rent a home and continue with your studies and part time job. Once you finish off your studies and get a full time job, it will be easier for you to get a mortgage.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
