When to look for developers

Hi there... We are a happy couple presently living in a rented house. Had a discussion with my hubby who said that this would be our "buy a house!" year. :) My foreclosure from my bankruptcy will be 3 years old in April and I'm thinking we may want to get a brand new house. But, I am curious as to how long it takes for a to-be built home to get completed? We are currently renting and our lease will expire this June. So, I'm wondering if we were able to do something, at what point would we start looking at developers?
Hi Jennifer,

It might take around 4-6 months in order to complete a built-in home. You should get in touch with the local developers now and discuss your plan. They may further help you in this regard.

You have to however fulfill certain criteria related to credit score, income, continuous employment records, down payment capability, assets, debts etc.
