I qualify for a mortgage, but need two years to support the amount of income. Is this a requirement for two years or can I get a mortgage that qualifies with income support as of jan. 2011
You would need to have 2 years verifiable income. Unless you are a recent graduate and your new job is in similar line of work as your studies, then a lender can use your schooling to full fill the 2 year requirement.
Hi Guest,
As Chris has said, it is mandatory for you to show 2 years of verifiable income in order to qualify for a mortgage. You can take help of a co-signer who has a good income and try to qualify for a mortgage.
Thanks

It's safe to say that more information is needed to give you a valid answer. Sometimes less than 2 years works, but most times it doesn't.
