Hi everyone... I am paying cash to buy a small townhouse. I will be doing title search but do I really need title Insurance? The one who is doing the closing says I should buy the title insurance. What should I actually do?
Hi Parry,
Without title insurance, you could be at a risk. Title search may not always find an error involving ownership. To be on the safer side, it is better to go for a title insurance.
Thanks,
Jerry

Hi Parry,
It is better to go for title insurance as Jerry has said. The person who is doing the closing has told you the right thing. In today's market, opting for title insurance will be a good thing.

Hi Parry,
It always better to get title insurance so that you do not have any discomfort in future. Do not think too much and just do the title insurance for your safety because no one knows what will be the condition of market in near future.
