I am making a deal with a lender who is based in another state but has license for my state too. Some of my close ones are advising me to rather use a local lender. Will there be any problem with a lender who resides out of my state?
Hi Oliver,
I had used a lender based in CA while I reside in Il and it was perfectly all right. So I don't see any problem with that.

Hi Oliver,
You should not face problems only because the lender is not from your state. Normally you will find it to work as good as working with a local lender.
But one advantage that you will have in using a local lender is that you can get things explained in case of any doubts by meeting the lender directly. Some feel more comfortable in having a face to face conversation on the deal.
So, if you feel comfortable in dealing a lender from outside your state then there should not be any problem with that.
God bless you.
