Are prepaids allowed to be included in the loan amount for a TX owner occupied rate & term refi?
Hi Tdoss, generally you need to pay them at the time of closing. But your lender can tell you whether he will allow for it to be included with the loan amount or not.

"prepaids allowed to be included in the loan amount"
Many lenders do allow borrower to roll closing costs and prepaid items into the new loan amount at the time of refinance. But you need to get it confirmed with your lender.

Prepaids may or may not be included into the loan amount. This will depend upon your lender.
