Has Anyone had a Payday Loan with Geneva Roth?

Posted on: 24th May, 2007 04:04 pm
Hi, My name is Serina and I did a payday loan with Geneva Roth. They keep debiting my account and I see they have done that with a few others. Does anyone have a contact number for someone at Geneva Roth? I took a loan out for $300 and they charged me $90 for finance. Is there anyway that I can send them all the money so that they can stop debiting my bank account. I have heard a lot of stories where people have money taken out of their accounts without even having a payday loan with GR, I just want to pay them off in full so they can stop costing me more money!!!!!!
Hi Serina,

Welcome to Mortgagefit forum.

I know their contact number, its 913-825-1200. Contact them as early as possible and ask them about the formalities you need to fulfill to pay the full amount due.

Let us know what they say.

Serina,

Even I have heard about such complaints about Geneva Roth. They keep on doing illegal things and god knows how many times they change their phone numbers. I hope you'll get the phone number from the page Miller has referred in the above post.

Contact them and get clear information why they are continuously taking out money from your account and how you can pay off the loan in full.

If you need their number, its : 913-825-1200.

Hi Caroline,

Welcome to the forum.

Geneva Roth is known as a loan shark company and is associated with all sorts of illegal activities. They have already taken out $1800 from your account. I think you should lodge a complaint in the Attorney General's office in your state ASAP.

There is a big discussion about this company and there illegal activities. You can have a look at it- http://www.mortgagefit.com/discuss/rioresource.html

Feel free to ask if you have any further questions.

Best of luck,
Larry

Hi darklotus,

Welcome to the forum.

Geneva Roth payday loans does not have very good reputation. So better stay away from them. We have hundreds of complaints against this company.

I think their address is .......

Geneva-Roth Ventures
PO Box 26413
Kansas City, MO 64196

Their number is 913-825-1200.

Best of luck,
Larry

I think that name actually comes out, they have all these catchy names but do not reveal geneva ross, not until you screw up and not pay for the loan or fall behind and then that is when their real name comes out.

I don't have a number for those "scoundrels" (only because the filter edited my other choice of words) but I will say this - they've been
sued in a class action suit for doing the same thing to others. I think
there should be other actions taken against them. They are the worse loan company ever.

Not only that, as my own experience serves, because they have several
other affiliates, be careful about applying for other loans on line. If you
owe them a balance and apply for another one, they will search your
identification for any other accounts related to your name and Soc. Sec.
and withdraw monies without your authorization. I've had to close out
an account because they did that to me. Fortunately, I caught them in
time but I had to go through some ish to explain to the bank that I didn't
authorize them to withdraw funds.

So, be careful and good luck!

Welcome Miss Kizzy.

You are right that they are not very good company and we got so many complaints against then. By the way thanks for sharing the info with us.

They don't take money out for any other accounts if you pay the loan off on time. I've spoken with many people, that have never had any problems with this company. Some one responded that grc took funds from his account and the account had to be closed. If he hadn't defaulted on his account, I am almost positive that wouldn't have happened. that's basically the problem with anyone that ends up in collections with grc. You can set up different types of payment arrangements. Just give them a call 18003518820

Hi guest,

Welcome to the forums.

It's good to know someone have had a pretty good experience with Geneva Roth. Several debtors have reported that they've been in trouble with this company and it's not that they've been into default. Guess you're the lucky one! Anyway, feel free to share your experiences with creditors and lenders.

For me it has been a learning experience sharing and receiving information from people coming here.

Take care
