I received a call from a lawyer in Texas stating that I had to pay $548.00 this week because I took a loan from Total Lending in May. They said they tried to charge my account for $250.00 and my funds were not available. Now they say that I will have to go to court or pay this amount? Can anyone help me? The lady insisted I pay that amount or they would contact my employer and take the funds from my check.
How much you actually owe on this loan Sadie?
Hello Sadie,
"They said they tried to charge my account for $250.00"
Is there any written document or proof regarding this? If there is any written document, then you can file a case against them as they have breached the contract.

With necessary documents to prove that full amount of the loan has already been paid you can sue them for requiring more money from you.
Did they give the details on how the $250 turned into $548?
