I BOUGTH A HOUSE THREE YEARS AGO BY MY SELF, NOW MY BROTHER (living with me)IS HELPING TO FINISH THE LOAN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. WAHT DO I NEED TO DO TO PUT HIM AS CO-OWNER IN THE HOUSE TITLE? thanks a lot for your answer.joel

you can make your brother the co-owner of the house by way of a quit claim deed.

You should inform the lender that you are going to add your brother to the title of the house before making any deed to add his name to the title.

As the lender has a lien over the house he has to be informed of any changes in the ownership of the house which might have an affect on his lien over the house.
