My husband is 72 and I am 57. Is there any way we can qualify for a reverse mortgage. If my name is taken off the deed, NOT the mortgage, would my husband then qualify for a reverse mortgage?
As you are below the age of 62, you won't qualify for the reverse mortgage but your husband would be able to. If your name is taken off the deed then there should not be any problem for your husband to qualify for the mortgage.

let me tell you that if there is an existing mortgage on the house then it will have to be paid off before applying for the reverse mortgage or from the funds he will get from this new mortgage.
