quick claim deed after bankruptcy?

Posted on: 29th Jul, 2007 04:55 am
i filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy and it was discharged. now the timeshare i owned and included, is requesting a quick claim deed to be signed or they will forclose. how can they do that if it was discharged and they acknowledge it?
if your lender acknowledged it that after getting bankruptcy discharged no need to file quit claim deed then what's the problem.

the solution is with you :)

Hi Reyesslc,

Even after the bankruptcy has been discharged, if there is any lien or debts placed against your property, the lender certainly has rights over it and can probably foreclose the property. Thus it seems that the lender wants you to pay for the liens in time.
